Human Factors and Their Role in Establishing the Industry of Cement and Phosphate in Al-Qa’im District

Abstract

The research aims to know the human factors affecting the establishment of cement and phosphate industry in Al-Qa’im district, because of its significant impact on the establishment of the industry in the study area and attracting large numbers of people to work in this industry, if the population of Al-Qaim district reached (85185) people at a rate of (10.37%).) of the total population of the governorate, which numbered (82,690) people in 1987, while the population of Al-Qa’im district was (95087) people, or (7.89%) of the total population of the governorate, which numbered (1203,736) people for the year 1997, and the district’s population reached (150146) people And at a rate of (10.12%) of the total population of the province, which numbered (1483,359) in 2010, and in 2021, the number of the population of the district reached (193607) and (10.11%) of the total population of the province, which numbered (1914,165), in addition to the direct role For government policies, it actually began when development plans were relied upon in time periods represented by the development plans (1965-1969), (1970-1974), (1976-1980) and (1981-1985). During these development plans, the importance of achieving Spatial budget in the distribution of industrial investments within the different regions of the country, especially the regions industrially backward, taking into account the economic, technical and social considerations in the distribution of major industrial projects, and that the private sector has a role in this in order to reduce the industrial concentration in specific areas.
