A proposed program according to Social theory for teaching curriculum and textbook material among students of Colleges of Basic Education

Abstract

This research aims to build a proposed program according to social theory for teaching curriculum and textbook material for students of Colleges of Basic Education, and to know the importance of social theory in learning knowledge and its active role in developing students’ abilities through building and developing knowledge on their own, and that social theory is one of the most important theories in Modern educational trends in the teaching and learning processes have received wide attention in modern educational thought because they link the educational process with the students' environment,To achieve the research's goal, the researcher prepared an open questionnaire for teachers who study the curriculum and the textbook to find out their opinions and ideas about this subject, and an open questionnaire for students of the fourth stage to know the difficulties they face in this subject, and then the researcher built a program (suggested educational content) according to the social theory and presented The educational content (student’s guide) and the strategies in the light of which the content is studied (the teacher’s guide) was given to a group of experts and arbitrators to verify its validity in teaching. The study came out with several conclusions, in the light of which a number of recommendations were announced):The importance of directing the adoption of the educational program prepared by the researcher in teaching the curriculum and the textbo basic education,Focusing on supporting the content of the educational curricula with activities (the practical side) in all academic subjects, due to what they achieve of self-learning and an increase in the level of achievement
