Abstract

This research constitutes an important step within a group of steps through which the type of press coverage carried out by Iraqi newspapers and how they deal with important issues and events, including the visit of Pope Francis to Iraq, is determined, as the need remains constant to conduct research of this type with every issue. There is a new event to identify the positives and negatives of these coverage's. This research was specialized in conducting a content analysis of the topics published by Al-Zaman (Iraq edition) and Al-Sabah during the period ranging from 1/31/2021 _ until 4/1| 2021, which is the period during which the visit took place.
