Collision Frequency Evaluation of Electrons in Argon-Helium GasMixture


In this research, mixture of different percentage for two rare gases, such as, Argon & Helium gases. In operation the gas is ionized, and free electrons, accelerated by the electrical field in the tube, collide with gas and atoms, for different ranges, E/N=(1×10-18 - 1×10-16 ) V. cm2. We have solved numerically transport equation through this gaseous medium, and obtained many different transport parameters, such as, νen, νei, νc, ω, ln Λ and –gd/bd. The obtained results appeared in agreement with the experimental and theoretical data.
