تــــقدير كـــــفــــاءة الطـــــحلـــبين Nostoc linckia (Roth.) Bron. & Thar. و Oscillatoria limosa (Roth.) C. A. Ag في ازالة بعض العناصر الثقيلة من مياه الفضلات في محطة طاقة الناصرية

Abstract

The ability of two cyanobacteria Nostoc linckia and oscillatoria limosa was tested to remove the heavy metals (Nickel, lead, and copper) from the wastewater of Al-Aria station. The waste of the final sedimentation taken used to proper stock culture of each cyanobacteria, the wastes was sterilized in one experiment Compared to unsterilized in anther.Analysis employing a flame atomic absorption spectrophotometer (FAAS) .The unialgal culture of N.linckia gave better result in removal of heavy metals than of O.limosa, the removal of nickel, lead and copper was 93% in the 1st day, 100% in the 7th day and 100% in the 3rd day respectively. The efficiency of removal of both cyanobacteria was better using unsterilized wastewater than sterilized wastewater.
