Abstract

The effect of γ-radiation on CZTS thin films were investigated using Cs137.These films were exposed for a period of 3weeks.Absorption and transmittance spectra were recorded in the wavelength range (400-900)nm before and after irradiation. The radiation cause an increment in The values of absorption extinction coefficient, Imaginary part of dielectric constant. While The value of transmittance and optical energy gap were reduced after irradiation. The value of reflectivity and real part of dielectric constant show Two behaviors, increasing in The photon energy(1.5-2)eV and decreasing in The photon energies>2eV. In comparison with Their values before irradiation . The value of refractive index show an opposite behavior in comparison with The behavior of Reflectivity and real part of dielectric constant
