The Role of the Intellectual in an Era of Crises: Study in Saul Bellow’s Herzog


Saul Bellow (1915-2005) is an American novelist, playwright, essayist, and short story writer. He is the Nobel Prize winner in literature in 1976. He is recognised as a novelist of the intellectuals for all his works are concerned with the figure of the intellectual who goes through a multiple of crises.
