التركيب النسجي للدودة الشريطية Amphicotyle heteropleura (Diesing,1850)
Abstract
The present study described the histological structure of the tapeworm Amphicotyle heteropleura (Order: Pseudophyllidea) as a parasitic of the Barbus luteus which is inhabitants of Tigris river in Ninevah governorate, using light microscopy.The histological results revealed that this parasite possessing a tape-like vitelline glands, which are located in the dorsal- ventral region. The study also shows a longitudinal muscles, on the other hand cilia was not noticed protruded in the cavity for the female reproductive organs.
