Abstract

tory at the College ofEducation for theHumanities at the Universityof KarbalaAnd their relationshipmethod used effectively inteaching from theperspective of studentsResearch Objectives /research aims to thefollowing: -1 - identify the level of skillof time management atTdrisie Department ofHistory at the College ofEducation for theHumanities at the Universityof Karbala from the point ofview of the students.2 - identify the level ofeffectiveness of theteaching method used byTdrisie Department ofHistory at the College ofEducation for theHumanities from the point ofview of the students.3 - Get correlation betweentime management and skillteaching method used byTdrisie Department ofHistory.Beyond research.Confined to the limits of thisresearch:1 - students of theDepartment of History -study morning at theCollege of Education for theHumanities at the Universityof Karbala.2 - academic year(2012/2013).مجلة الباحث العدد الثامن 31023Research procedures.Researchers used thedescriptive analyticalmethod to achieve theresearch objectives,consisted researchcommunity of all studentsDepartment of History /study morning andnumbered (283) students,the research sample haschosen researchers allstudents the fourth stage inthe Department of Historyand numbered (162)request and student, Afterthe sample was extractedstatistical analysis andnumbered (22) students ofthe sample mentioned, ithas become the number offinal basic research sample(140) male and femalestudents.Two search tools.Researchers used in theirsearch tools are:1 - questionnaire tomeasure the level of skill oftime management at TdrisieDepartment of History andthe tool consisted of (44)items distributed on threeareas (planning, organizing,directing and humanrelations).2 - questionnaire tomeasure the level ofeffectiveness of the methodused in teaching by TdrisieDepartment of History, andconsisted of the tool (22)items distributed randomlyto measure theeffectiveness of the way inteaching.Statistical methods.To address the researchdata researchers usedstatistical methods anddescriptive and analyticalbeneficiaries from usingStatistical Package forSocial Sciences (Spss).Search results.1 - that the degree of timemanagement skill level wasweak according to standardlevels set by theresearchers to estimate thelevel.2 - that the degree of thelevel of effectiveness of themethod used in teachingwas weak according tostandard levels set by theresearchers to estimate thelevel.3 - There is a significantcorrelation positive directcorrelation between the skillof time management andthe effectiveness of themethod used in teaching.In light of these resultsresearchers developed a setof recommendations,including: -1 - workshops and trainingprograms for universityfaculty members to equipthem with knowledge of theprinciples of managementand investment of time.2 - issued a universityhandbook or manualمجلة الباحث العدد الثامن 31024explains time managementskills and time managementtechniques in addition toprocessing methods andestates time3 - Develop a list ofprofessional standards arebased in light of the overallquality concepts for theselection of members of theuniversity faculty.4 - inventory of the teachingprocess in the colleges ofeducation in Iraqiuniversities to graduates of
