The Effect of Using the Learning Course of Over Cognitive Strategy to Develop Reading Comprehension and the Achievement of Biology at the Second Grade Female Pupils in the Intermediate School

Abstract

The research aims to identify the impact of using the learning course of over cognitive strategy to develop reading comprehension and the achievement of biology at the second grade female pupils in the intermediate school. In order to verify the aim of the research, formulate the following two hypotheses: 1-There is no statistically significant difference at the level of significance (0.05) between the average scores of the experimental group pupils who studied in a strategy of over cognitive learning course and the average score for the control group pupils who studied in a traditional way in the scale of reading comprehension. 2-There is no statistically significant difference at the level of significance (0.05) between the average scores of the experimental group pupils who studied in a strategy of the over cognitive learning course and the average score for the control group pupils who studied in a traditional way in the achievement test.
