Abstract

Evaluative study of the history textbooks for the primary stage in Iraqi schools according to the quality standards The study aims to evaluate the history book for sixth-grade primary school in the light of the quality standards from the standpoint of social studies teachers, and find out what level of quality history book for sixth-grade primary school in light of the standards from the standpoint of social studies teachers? Are there any statistically significant differences between the responses of teachers in social studies about the quality of a sixth-grade history book in the light of the primary quality standards due to the variable (sex, years of experience and areas of study)?So a promising researcher questionnaire consisting of (12) and standard (62) indicator distributed (6) applied to the sample areas of social studies teachers in the district of the Indian reached (88) teachers and after analyzing the data of the study reached the following results:1.was the arithmetic average of the responses of teachers in social studies about the quality of a sixth-grade history book in the light of the primary quality standards less than the average premise and this indicates a lack of any check required quality level it came Average 2.lack of significant differences between the responses of teachers in social studies about the quality of a sixth-grade history book in the light of the primary quality standards due to the sex of the teachers?3.The presence of significant differences between the responses of teachers in social studies about the quality of a sixth-grade history book in the light of the primary quality standards due to years of experience?4.came all areas of study, the level of the average and was ranked in terms of importance was the third area ranked first and fifth area ranked second and fourth area in either area ranked sixth in the fifth.
