Objective: The aim of the study was to evaluate different biochemical parameters in some autistic Iraqi children, and to compare the results with healthy children who matched with age, looking for any alteration in the studied parameters in order to understand the biochemistry of this disorder. Patients and Methods: Forty one consecutive autistic children admitted to (Al Safa center for autism and Iben-AL Rshid Psychiatry Teaching Hospital) were included in the current study with mean age of (6.62y±3). Results: Results obtained in the present study were higher significantly high levels (p≤0.05) of serum uric acid, serum total bilirubin, and thyroid stimulating hormone (TSH). While non-significant differences (p≥0.05) in the levels of fasting blood glucose, total cholesterol, serum totals protein, serum albumin, and total thyroxine T4, triiodothyronine T3. The results also indicated three cases of autistic children who have positive test for serum Anti- tissue-transglutaminase IgA & IgG antibody by using ELISA technique. Conclusion: The present study highlights the relationship between some chemical parameters and ASD. Further study must carry out with large number of cases to investigate this relationship more deeply in these patients. Keywords: Autistic Spectrum Disorder, glucose, cholesterol, uric acid, bilirubin, hypothyroidism, celiac disease.

مقدمه: اضطراب مرض التوحد (ASD) هو مصطلح عام لمجموعة من الاضطرابات المعقدة التي تحدث لنمو الدماغ. ولا يوجد لديه سبب واحد معروف، وتتميز هذه الاضطرابات، وبدرجات متفاوتة، من صعوبات في التفاعل الاجتماعي والتواصل اللفظي وغير اللفظي والسلوكيات المتكررة. هدف البحث: الهدف من هذه الدراسة هو تقييم معايير كيموحيويه مختلفة في بعض الأطفال العراقيين الذين يعانون من مرض التوحد ، ومقارنة النتائج مع الأطفال الأصحاء المطابقين لهم في المرحله العمريه، ومحاولة البحث عن أي تغييرات في المعايير المدروسه من أجل فهم الكيمياء الحيوية لهذا الاضطراب.طرق العمل: اجريت الدراسه الحاليه على واحد وأربعين طفلا من المصابين بالتوحد وعلى التعاقب تم اخذ العينات من (مركز الصفا لمرض التوحد ومستشفى ابن الرشد التعليمي للطب النفسي) وكان متوسط اعمارهم y3 ±6.26. النتائج: أشارت النتائج الى وجود زيادات كبيرة (p≤0.05) في تراكيز حمض اليوريك في الدم، البيليروبين الكلي في الدم، وهرمون تنشيط الغدة الدرقية (TSH). بينما اظهرت الدراسه فروق غير معنوية (P≥0.05) في مستويات السكر في الدم ، الكوليسترول الكلي، البروتين ، الالبومين، هرمون الغدة الدرقية T4 ، وهرمون ثلاثي يودو ثيرونين T3. أشارت النتائج أيضا الى وجود ثلاث حالات من الأطفال المصابين بالتوحد لديهم اختبار إيجابي لاضداد إنزيم (tissue-transglutaminase ) من نمط مضاد الكلوبيولين المناعي ,IgG& IgA بأستعمال أختبار ELISA.الاستنتاج: تُبرزُ دراستُنا الحاليةُ العلاقةُ بين بعض المعايير الكيموحيويه ومرض التوحد. ويوصى باجراء هكذا دراسه في المستقبل وعلى اعداد اكبر من العينات لتحري هذه العلاقه بصوره اوضح واعمق.مفتاح الكلمات: اضطرابات مرض التوحد, الكلوكوز, الكوليسترول, حامض اليوريك, البيلروبين, خمول الغده الدرقيه, مرض حساسية الحنطه.} }
