This syntactic phenomenon encouraged the researcher to study the verb FATAHA and its multi meanings through consulting dictionaries, syntax references, Holy Qur’an parsing and commentaries, and the like.Views of Arab linguists, old and modern, on Homonymy will be given special consideration, so as to show how effective, they were in this respect.

الملخص:يقترن الفعل في اللغة العربية بلواحق قد تغي ر معناه أَو قد تُخرجه من الدلالة التي وضع لها، ومن هذهالأفَعال الفعل "فتح "، ولحاظ هذا الأمر هو الذي دفع الباحث إِّلى دراسة الصيغ التي جاء بها الفعلِّ فتح،والوقوف على معانيها المتعددةِّ، مستعينا بكتب النحو والمعاجم وكتب إِّعراب القرآن الكريم وتفسيره. وتعدظاهرة المشترك اللَّفظ ي من أهم ال ظواهر الد لالي ة الخاصة التي خاض في الحديث عنها الل غويون العربالقدامى الذين ظهرت لهم فيما بعد آراء مختلفة في أمر المشترك الل فظ ي، ممَّا يقتضي أن نقف عليها ونعمل علىتوضيحها وفهم المراد منها.
