In this Project, we tried to rely on manuscripts that traced the origin of writing. We explained - after inspecting the studies of Nassir El din El Assad in Pre-Islamic Poetry - that verbal poetry represented an introduction and a rooting awareness for writing. Therefore, the Pre-Islamic poetry is driven away from the scope of the verbal to writing attempts, though primitive.

يقوم هذا البحث على فكرة جوهرية ملخّصها أنّ الكتابة مهّد لها الشعر الجاهليّ رغم إجماع المدوّنة العربيّة على اكتمال التدوين في القرن الثاني الهجريّ، وقد حاولنا في هذا الدراسة الاعتماد على نصوص تؤصّل للكتابة فبيّنا -اعتمادا على دراسات ناصر الدين الأسد في الشعر الجاهلي- أنّ النظم الشفويّ الجاهليّ مثل مقدمة ووعيا تأصيليّا للكتابة، وبذلك يخرج الشعر الجاهلي من مدار الشفاهية إلى محاولات كتابيّة وإن كانت بدائيّة.} }
