Local hypertrophy of soft tissues may also occur and may be associated with megalodactyly or gigantism of an entire limb2. Here is a report of a case of neurofibromatosis with local hypertrophy of soft tissues in an unusual site. This case was presented to and managed in the Department of Trauma and Orthopedics at Basrah General Hospital in 1977.
