To assess theradiological hazard of the natural radioactivity, the absorbed dose rate (Dr),the radium equivalent activity (Raeq), the effective dose rate (Eeff), the annualeffective dose equivalent (AEDE), Excess Lifetime Cancer Risk (ELCR), theradioactivity level index (Iγ), and the external (Hex) and internal (Hin) hazardindices were calculated. Which is located within the limits allowed by theInternational Atomic Energy Agency, Hence, measurements have been takenas representing baseline values of these radionuclides in the soil in studyingarea.
