The parliament has many means of monitoring under the law to monitor and hold the government accountable for its actions. Sometimes the parliament has weak role because of political conflicts and lack of care for parliamentary duty. In addition to the expansion of government activity in various areas which led to make the parliament unable to face or count the government at most times.

يمارس البرلمان صلاحيات رقابية إلى جانب الصلاحيات التشريعية ,من اجل مراقبة أعمال الحكومة والوقوف على الحقيقة في بعض المواضيع التي يجب ان يقف البرلمان عليها بنفسه ,اذ يملك العديد من الوسائل الرقابية بموجب القانون يراقب ويحاسب من خلالها الحكومة عن عمالها المختلفة , الا ان هناك ضعف كبير في الدور الرقابي للبرلمان بسبب الصراعات السياسية وعدم الاعتناء بالواجب الوظيفي النيابي بالإضافة الى اتساع نشاط الحكومة في مختلف المجالات مما ادى الى جعل البرلمان عاجزاً عن مواجهة الحكومة في كثير من الاحيان ER -
