The animals were divided into five groups(each group consisting of 5 males and 5 females), the first group (control) was injected with thephysiological solution Nacl 0.9%, second group was injected with10 mg / kg of Sertraline, third group wasinjected with 20 mg / kg of sertraline, fourth group was injected with 5 mg / kg of fluoxetine and fifth groupwas injected with10 mg / kg fluoxetine. The results showed that a significant increase (P≤0.05) in theconcentration of urea and creatinine (except for the second group of females) in all treated group comparedwith control. In the liver enzymes, the results showed that a significant decrease in the concentrations ofaspartate transaminase enzyme, Alanine transaminase and alkaline phosphatase in all treated groupscompared with the control group(P≤0.05). The kidney tissue showed histological changes such asinfiltration of inflammatory cell, congestion, hemorrhage, renal glomerular distraction and loss, renaltubular hypertrophy.
