This research deals with the impact of the Nasserite revolution on the countries of the Arabian Gulf at an important historical stage in the Arab region between 1956 and 1967, It also addresses the British position on this trend, which saw Britain as a threat to its influence and interests in the region, And worked in various ways to address this trend and reduce its role in the emirates and the sheikhs of the Arabian Gulf.

يُعد التيار الناصري من أبرز التيارات السياسية العربية التي لقيت صدىً وانتشاراً كبيرين في العالم العربي بصورةٍ عامة, ومنطقة الخليج العربي بصورةٍ خاصة؛ منذُ الخمسينات من القرن العشرين, وكان لهذا التيار تأثير كبير على الحركات الوطنية في الخليج العربي, والذي أكد في أهدافه على التحرر والاستقلال وتحقيق الوحدة العربية, وتأميم ثروات العرب, وإنهاء الوجود الأجنبي بصورة عامة, والبريطاني بشكلٍ خاص, وقد لقيت تلك الأهداف قبولاً من قبل أبناء الخليج العربي. يتناول هذا البحث أثر التير الناصري على بلدان الخليج العربي في مرحلة تاريخية مهمة مرت بها المنطقة العربية بين عامي(1956-1967), كما يتناول الموقف البريطاني من هذا التيار الذي رأت فيه بريطانيا تهديداً لنفوذها ومصالحها في المنطقة, فعملت بشتى الوسائل الى التصدي لهذا التيار وتحجيم دوره في امارات ومشيخات الخليج العربي.
