We analyze the effect of slip boundary conditions on instability and stability of this model. The linear instability and nonlinear energy stability theories are used. We analyze when stability and instability begin and determine the critical Rayleigh number as a function of the slip coefficient. Furthermore, the effect of the inclusion of the chemical reaction rate and the Brinkman coefficient on the instability and stability of the model is considered. Moreover, the effects of the inertia coefficient on the linear instability boundary have been investigated.
