@Article{, title={In- Vitro Antimicrobial Activity of Punica granatum Peel Extracts Against Some Pathogenic Bacteria الفعالية التثبيطية لمستخلصات قشور الرمان Punica granatum تجاه بعض أنواع البكتريا المرضية خارج الجسم الحي}, author={}, journal={Journal of Education and Scientific Studies مجلة الدراسات التربوية والعلمية}, volume={}, number={6}, pages={370-382}, year={2015}, abstract={The study was designed to detect some of the active components in pomegranate peel fruits (Punica granatum) and test the effectiveness of aqueous and alcohol peel extracts against the growth of some pathogenic bacteria , using agar well diffusion method, and in concentration(5,10,15,20) mg / ml. The isolates used are : E. coli , Shigella spp. , Klebsiella spp. , Pseudomonas spp. , Staphylococcus aureus and Streptococcus spp. . Qualitative detaction showed the presence of various bioactive components in aqueous and ethanolic crude extracts such as alkaloids, flavonoids, glycosides, tannins and saponins that have antibacterial activity, and it proved that the ethanolic extraction more potent than aqueous extraction. The results of antibacterial effect showed the inverse relationship between the concentrations used and the growth of bacteria, as the greater concentration decreases the growth of bacteria. Concentration ( 5 mg / mL) of aqueous and alcohol extracts showed its effect on pathogenic bacteria E.coli , Streptococcus spp. and Staphylococcus aureus, but did not show any effect on Shigella spp. , Klebsiella spp. and Pseudomonas spp.. While concentrations (15, 20 mg / ml) showed higher inhibitory effect on all types of pathogenic bacteria used. The results showed that the alcoholic extract has greater effect in inhibiting the growth of bacteria than the aqueous extract. It also showed that the Gram - positive bacteria are more sensitive to aqueous and alcoholic extracts of pomegranate peel than Gram - negative bacteria. Due to the differences in synthetic cell wall between Gram – positive and Gram - negative bacteria through the contents of peptidoglycan and lipids, which tannins and phenolic compounds in the peel of pomegranate working on .

صممت الدراسة للكشف النوعي عن بعض المواد الفعاله الموجودة في قشور ثمار الرمانPomegranate ( Punica granatum ) واختبار الفعالية التثبيطـيـة للمستخـلص المائـي والكحولي لقشور ثمارالرمان في نمو بعض العزلات البكتيرية الممرضـة للإنسان, باستخدام طريقة الانتشار بالحفرAgar Well diffusion method , بتراكيز (20, 15, 10, 5 ) ملغم/مل . والعزلات هي : E.coli , Shigella spp., Klebsiella spp. , Pseudomonas spp., Staphylococcus aureus. وStreptococcus spp. . اظهر الكشف النوعي الى وجود العديد من المواد النشطة بايولوجيا في المستخلصات المائية والكحولية الخام مثل القلويدات , الفلافينويد , الكلايكوسيدات , المواد العفصية و الصابونيات والتي تمتلك فعالية مضادة للاحياء المجهرية , وان الاستخلاص الكحولي بالايثانول هو اكثر كفاءة من الاستخلاص المائي .أظهرت نتائج الفعالية التثبيطية إلى وجود علاقة عكسية ما بين التراكيز المستخدمة ونمو الجراثيم, إذ كلما زاد التركيز قل نمو البكتريا. اظهر التركيز 5 ملغم/مل للمستخلص المائي والكحولي تأثيره على بكتريا E.coli وStreptococcus spp. وStaphylococcus aureus., ولم يظهر أي تأثير على بكتريا Shigella spp. و Klebsiella spp.و Pseudomonas spp.. في حين أظهرت التراكيز(20,15) ملغم/مل تأثيرها التثبيطي العالي في جميع أنواع البكتريا المستخدمة و أن للمستخلص الكحولي تأثير اكبر في تثبيط نمو البكتريا بالمقارنة مع المستخلص المائي . ومن الواضح أن البكتريا الموجبة لصبغة كرام هي أكثر تحسسا للمستخلصات المائية و الكحولية لقشور ثمار الرمان من البكتريا السالبة لصبغة كرام , وذلك للاختلاف التركيبي للجدار الخلوي بين البـكـتـريا الـموجبة والبكتريا السالبة لصبغة كرام وما يحتويه من بيبتايدوجلايكانpeptidoglycan وليبيدات lipids , اذ تعمل المواد العفصية والمركبات الفينولية الموجودة في قشور ثمار الرمان عليها.} }
