TY - JOUR ID - TI - Spiritual Pleasure and Pain in The Poetry of Abu Nawas روحية اللذة والألم في شعر أبي نواس AU - Hussein Ahmed Abbawoy حسين احمد عباوي AU - Asma'a Saber Jasim أسماء صابر جاسم PY - 2020 VL - 12 IS - 43-3 SP - 87 EP - 102 JO - Journal of Al-Farahidi's Arts SN - 26638118 20749554 AB - This research examines the relationship of the dichotomy of pleasure and pain in its spiritual dimension to Abu Nawas with a sense of sin, after having perished on pleasures and having what he wanted to have fun and did not pardon iniquity, he did not care that the fluctuations of time should be taken into account, and beyond the edge of the grave, while he lives a present in futility , Amusement and pleasures. However, the frailty that he seized after the years advanced him has awakened him from his negligence about the consequences of things and made him one of the poets who carry the original pain, that pain that was more impactful and deep, especially in the lightning of his repentance that some see as a desperate submission and an awakening that came late due to his illness that afflicted him In the end of his days, and it indicates the necessity of preaching with those who are distracted from those who have acted by the hand of eternity, every disposer, mixing all of that that a broken heart rises from the exhalations, and he is filled with worry, in front of the youthfulness that has escaped, and the longevity that was destroyed, in a world full of falsehood, The effort of a person is lost in what he does not find, as he adores it while confirms it and overlooks the hereafter. After neglecting the deadly age, the pain of old age leads him to feel remorse and admit to bad work, after he realized the wide range of forgiveness and the possibility of winning the repentance that became his hope in salvation. All of this is formulated in the delicate conscience of the revelation in the hope of getting rid of the spiritual nation as it senses the control of God, who has no escape without him, in order to condemn himself for being excessive in self-indulgence, dreading the consequences of his transgressions, and minimizing his slips. So, we see him delegating to God Almighty and seeking the reward of his punishment.
