The study included 40 breast cancer patients who reviewed Murjan General Teaching Hospital for the period from October 2014 to February 2015, as well as 15 women together (the control group). All samples were divided into five groups according to the number of doses (before the first dose, after the third dose, after the fifth dose, after the sixth dose and the last group after the eight dose). The levels of Catalase, Superoxide dismutase and Malondialdehyde were measured in the serum of all patients and healthy subjects using immunological and chromatic methods. The results of the current study showed a significant decrease in the effectiveness of the SOD enzyme (2.01 ± 0.18, 1.84 ± 0.62, 1.68 ± 0.28, 1.47 ± 0.44, 1.46 ± 0.43) compared to the control group (2.5 ± 0.73). The results also showed a significant decrease in the effectiveness of the CAT enzyme in patients (7.5 ± 0.5, 5.95 ± 1.65, 5.22 ± 1.2, 4.64 ± 0.5, 4.59 ± 1.6) compared to the control group (7.9 ± 2.3) in addition to a significant increase in the concentration of Malondialdehyde (MDA) in women with breast cancer during different stages of chemotherapy (2.68 ± 0.1, 3.01 ± 0.21, 3.5 ± 0.39, 4.26 ± 0.06, 4.64 ± 0.27) compared to the control group (2.5 ± 0.7). These changes that occur in breast cancer patients, especially after chemotherapy, must be taken into consideration, especially when patients are given anti-cancer drugs or any other drugs because these changes may affect the effectiveness and toxicity of these drugs at the same time.

تهدف هذه الدراسة إلى معرفة التغيرات الحاصلة في بعض المعايير الكيموحيوية والاجهادات التأكسدية لدى مرضى سرطان الثدي وذلك لأهميتها في مساعدة الفريق الطبي من اجل تقديم العناية المناسبة للمرضى. تضمنت الدراسة 40 مريضة مصابة بسرطان الثدي ممن راجعوا مستشفى مرجان التعليمي العام للفترة من تشرين الاول 2014 ولغاية شباط 2015 فضلا عن 15 امرأة سوية (مجموعة السيطرة). قسمت جميع العينات إلى خمسة مجاميع حسب عدد الجرعات (قبل الجرعة الاولى، بعد الجرعة الثالثة، بعد الجرعة الخامسة، بعد الجرعة السادسة والمجموعة الاخيرة بعد الجرعة الثامنة). تم قياس مستويات كل من Catalase, Superoxide dismutase and Malondialdehyde في مصول جميع المرضى والأصحاء باستخدام الطرق المناعية والطرق اللونية. اظهرت نتائج الدراسة الحالية وجود نقصان معنوي في فعالية انزيم الـ SOD (2.01±0.18، 1.84±0.62، 1.68±0.28، 1.47±0.44، 1.46±0.43) مقارنة بمجموعة السيطرة (2.5±0.73). كما اظهرت النتائج وجود نقصان معنوي في فعالية انزيم الـ CAT قفي المرضى (7.5±0.5، 5.95±1.65، 5.22±1.2، 4.64±0.5، 4.59±1.6) مقارنة بمجموعة السيطرة (7.9±2.3) بالإضافة الى وجود زيادة معنوية في تركيز المالون ثنائي الالديهايد (MDA) في النساء المصابات بسرطان الثدي خلال مراحل مختلفة من العلاج الكيمياوي (2.68±0.1، 3.01±0.21، 3.5±0.39، 4.26±0.06، 4.64±0.27) مقارنة بمجموعة السيطرة (2.5±0.7). ھذه التغيرات التي تحدث في مرضى سرطان الثدي وخاصة بعد العلاج الكيمياوي یجب ان تؤخذ بعین الاعتبار وخاصة عند إعطاء المرضى الأدوية المضادة للسرطان أو أي أدوية أخرى لان ھذه التغيرات قد تؤثر على فعالیة و سمیة ھذه الأدوية بنفس الوقت.} }
