The optical, photoluminescence and structural characteristics of the synthesized quantum dots based on the prepared cadmium telluride nanoparticles were determined and studied. These quantum dots can be successfully used to improve the performance of photonics and optoelectronic devices, mainly photodetectors and solar cells.
