As the world is turning towards environmentallyfriendly alternatives, finding locally viable solutions is becoming inevitable. Theinfluence of using Nano starches of a biopolymer on certain properties of silicafume concrete in the fresh case (slump and fresh density) and in the hardenedcase (compressive strength, splitting tensile strength, and flexural strength) hasbeen investigated. It has been added to silica fume concrete in variouspercentages of (0%, 0.25%, 0.5%, and 0.75%) by cement weight. The mixproportions of concrete mixtures were 1:2.3:2.3, with a fixed w/c of 0.47 and 15% silica fume added by the weight of cement for all mixers. super plasticizer of0.75% is also added by the weight of cement for all mixtures. According to thefindings, slump increased by 19%, and fresh density increased by 3% when Nanostarch was added at a concentration of 0.75%. The optimal level of Nano starchaddition was 0.25%, which resulted in a 43% increase in compressive strengthand a 34% and 26% increase in splitting tensile and flexural strength of concrete, respectively.
