Newly diagnosed hyperglycemia was recognized in 7% of control group patients.AIMS OF STUD============== To shed light on the incidence of hyperglycemia among patients with acute coronary syndromes, with particular concentration on newly diagnosed hyperglycemia, so that to consider strategies for early detection and management of such metabolic problem to lessen its detrimental impacts on patients with such acute cardiac events. Also ,to present a baseline data for future, probably more informative studies, regarding the incidence of such metabolic problem among ACS patients in Missan governorate..
