The government of the Justice and Development Party has adopted three basic principles in construction of its attitudes toward the Arab revolutions: the adoption of the peoples slogans on freedom and democracy, rejection of any direct Western military intervention in the popular revolutions, and maintaining of the infrastructure of the countries in which the revolutions have occurred.

تناول هذا البحث مواقف تركيا من الثورات العربية في تونس ومصر وليبيا، مبتدءاً الموضوع بمدخل مهم عن مقومات السياسة الخارجية التركية في عهد حزب العدالة والتنمية لتحديد الأسس التي بنيت عليها المواقف التركية من هذه الثورات الثلاث، وصولا إلى فهم هذه المواقف التي اختلفت من ثورة لأخرى. واعتمدت حكومة حزب العدالة والتنمية في بناء مواقفها تجاه الثورات العربية على ثلاثة مبادئ أساسية هي: تبني شعارات الشعوب في الحرية والديمقراطية، ورفض أي تدخل عسكري غربي مباشر في مسار الثورات الشعبية، والحفاظ على البنية التحتية للدول التي تحدث فيها الثورات.
