Our aim in this paper is to share our teaching experience of this subject in a way to enhance student learning outcome by developing projects for the logic design, lab to help students better understand the theoretical concepts of the subject and to gain hands-on type of experience and apply that for more realistic projects. The techniques applying in this paper are aModelSim is a verification and simulation tool for VHDL, Verilog, System Verilog, and mixed language designs. Electronic Workbench (EWB) is a simulation program for educators and engineers that can model the behavior of analog / digital circuits and provide a means of analyzing them in a safe and efficient manner.
