About

Anbar Journal of Agricultural Sciences (AJAS) is a Journal of Scientific Research on Agricultural Sciences published by the University Of Anbar - College Of Agriculture since 2003 under the license of Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC-BY). The journal publishes twice a year (June and December). AJAS aims to disseminate distinguished scientific research to various fields of agricultural sciences. We invite original work and research in various fields of agricultural sciences and related papers, reviews and short communications of content related to agriculture written in Arabic and English. A double-blind peer-reviewing system is used to assure the quality of the publication. We are also using iThenticate to prevent plagiarism and to ensure the originality of our submitted manuscripts. The journal is not financially supported by any governmental or non-governmental organization.

Scope of the Journal

Aims

Anbar Journal of Agricultural Sciences (AJAS) is a quarterly international journal that accepts research articles, reviews and short communications of content related to agriculture. Research articles and short communications must report original work not previously published in any language and not under consideration for publication elsewhere. The main aim of AJAS is to publish papers that report research findings in agricultural sciences.

Scope

Anbar Journal of Agricultural Sciences (AJAS) publishes original research papers, review papers, case reports.  AJAS is open access Journal, the publication is dedicated to bringing together intellectual and professional scientists, Research articles make an original and significant contribution to the field of study within the scope of the journal. These articles should be of interest to a broad audience, scientifically sound, well-written, and concise. Short communications must report completed work, not preliminary findings.

Reviews aim to provide an overview of an issue of great interest or topicality. Reviews will be invited by the Editorial Board. However, potential authors can suggest topics to the Editor-in-Chief. Authors must be experts and have several publications on the subject, as well as the public sectors who are engaged in efforts to understand the agricultural sciences in fields of:

1. Agriculture/Agronomy

Resources in the Agriculture/Agronomy category cover a number of agricultural sciences, including general agriculture, agricultural economics, agricultural engineering, agronomy, tillage research, agroforestry, horticulture, and crop protection and science.

2. Agricultural Chemistry

Resources in the Agricultural Chemistry category cover many aspects of chemistry related to disciplines in AJAS, including agrochemistry, agricultural biochemistry, food chemistry, analytical chemistry, cereal chemistry, and carbohydrate and lipid research.

3. Animal Sciences

Resources in the Animal Sciences category cover basic animal science, animal behavior, animal production science, poultry science, wildlife research, lab animal science, and zoology.
