Al Mustansiriyah Journal of Pharmaceutical Sciences (AJPS)

Al Mustansiriyah Journal of Pharmaceutical Sciences (AJPS) is a peer-reviewed open-access scientific journal published by the College of Pharmacy, Mustansiriyah University, under the regulations and standards of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research in Iraq. AJPS aims at disseminating leading-edge knowledge and expertise in Pharmacy topics for researchers, academic scientists, and postgraduate students. The vision for the future is to make the journal abstracted and indexed by prominent databases and internationally cited, read, and downloaded by scholars. The first issue of the journal was published in 2004, and today AJPS is published quarterly.
Crossref Digital Object Identifier (DOI) Crossref makes research objects easy to find, cite, link, assess, and reuse.
DOI is guaranteed by no means to change, so it can be used as a permanent link to any electronic article. The journal DOI prefix account is10.32947. It is necessary to mention that AJPS accepts the result of turnitin plagiarism checker score that is equal to and less than 20% (excluding references, and common phrases).
Having too high turnitin similarity score can cause a rejection of the paper.  


AJPS is the official journal of College of Pharmacy / Mustansiriyah University, publishing high quality submissions which encompass the various disciplines of pharmaceutical and biomedical sciences.

Scope of the Journal

AJPS publishes original research papers and review papers in various aspects of pharmaceutical and biomedical science fields. The publication is dedicated to bringing together intellectual and professional scholars, as well as the industry who are engaged in efforts to develop pharmaceutical and biomedical services in fields of:

  • Pharmacology, pharmacy practice, clinical and hospital pharmacy, Pharmacoeconomics
  • Pharmaceutical technology, pharmaceutics, novel drug delivery.
  • Pharmacognosy and natural product research.
  • Pharmaceutical/medicinal chemistry. Computational chemistry and molecular drug design, pharmaceutics analysis.
  • Biotechnology of pharmaceutics scope, cell biology, genomics and proteomics, pharmacogenomics,
  • Medical sciences/case study.
