تهدف الدراسة الى قياس فعالية انزيم الفوسفاتيز الحامضي البروستاتي في مصل دم مرضى سرطان البروستات باعتباره مؤشرا لتشخيص هذه الحالة المرضية وقياس تركيز المستضد البروستاتي النوعي وقياس الاجهاد التأكسدي من خلال قياس بيروكسيدة الدهن المالوناديالديهايد والكلوتاثايون. إذ بينت النتائج وجود زيادة معنوية في فعالية انزيم الفوسفاتيز الحامضي البروستاتي في مصل دم المرضى المصابين بسرطان البروستات وانخفاض معنوي في مستوى الانتجين الخاص بالبروستات، كما اظهرت نتائج التحليل الاحصائي انخفاضاً معنوياً في مستوى الكلوتاثايون بينما اظهر المالوندايهالديهايد ارتفاعاً معنوياً في مصل دم المرضى المصابين بسرطان البروستات مقارنة بالاصحاء.
