Abstract

During the Babylonian era, especially during King Hammurabi's reign (1795-1750 B.C), economic life witnessed a remarkable development in commercial transactions both internally and externally, which led King Hammurabi to include in his law a number of legal articles dealing with the regulation of commercial transactions Between the seller and the buyer and between the creditor and the debtor in order to guarantee the rights of all parties involved in the business process, which we will address in our research pages in the light of an analytical study of the articles of this law.
