Spatial analysis of the outputs of technical education and vocational training in industrial Iraq and its role in the development of the industrial sector

Abstract

Studies confirm the importance and the role of the human element in the qualification process of economic development, and Iraq on the verge of a process of reconstruction and rebuilding is today in dire need of skilled workforce from Central and advanced cadres. The research aims to identify the main actors for Technical Education and Vocational Training in Iraq and contrast spatial, and quality of technical education output and vocational training to find out the difficulties they faced and the development of ways and recommendations to overcome them, as well as provide data and information on specialties and branches professional and the types of courses that prepare and qualify outputs technical education and vocational training that fit with the labor market in the industrial sector and the reality of the industrial sector and the size of the labor force and its ability to create jobs. The main problem of the research in the widening of the gap between education and vocational training sector and the industrial sector over the past years in the country by not first outputs 's ability to meet the labor market needs in the industrial sector in terms of quantity and quality, and the weakness of the labor market efficiency in the second (industrial sector) and lack of ability to absorb education and training institutions and to provide the appropriate output conditions to contain strong and make it a human actor to provide job opportunities for them.The problem faced by the industrial sector in Iraq is not the absence of such skilled manpower and moderation crisis management that sector, but this problem are closely not to provide specific and accurate information on labor market requirements in current and future manpower and specializations, qualifications industrial sector link so are building them the design of educational and training operations and technical professional, as well as weak absorptive capacity of the market of industrial action.The research found a number of recommendations and conclusions from them.• multiplicity of ministries, agencies and authorities charged with the tasks and programs of vocational and technical training and education, and this makes systems are fragmented and scattered, especially in light of the lack of coordination among them.
