Abstract

Validity Evaluation of Cereal Flakes Product Microbial SideSalim Salih AL-Timimi*Abstract The study aimed to identify the nutritional significance of some types of food label breakfast manufactured from corn ( Corn Flakes) imported available in the local markets of the city of Baghdad (the eight brands of cornflakes collection) and the extent of compliance with the standard specifications of the Food bottled and canned,and estimate the microbial content and mycotoxins (Aflatoxin s). The results showed that the significance of all the marks label for all brands contain the information in Arabic and English (with the exception of only one sign in English).The results of microbial tests contain these signs in the numbers of bacterial College ranged between 3-7 X102 cuf / g, has numbers of Staphylococcus bacteria ranged between 1- 6 X102 cuf / g while the numbers of yeasts and molds ranged between 2-5 X102 cuf / g, All brands were empty from coliform. When diagnosing molds and fungus Pencillium appeared more species presence in corn flakes and then followed by the mold Aspergillus mold Mucor. As it has been the investigation of Aflatoxin B2, B1.
