Calculation Of the Transition Strengths |M(E2)|2 and Transition Probability B(E2) in 38Sr and 58Ce Nuclei

Abstract

The transition strengths |M(E2)|2 and reduced electric quadruple transition probability B(E2) have been calculated for γ-transitions from first excited 2+ state to the ground state in 38Sr and 58Ce nuclei whose life times have been reported previously. The relationship between number of neutrons and transition strengths |M(E2)|2, transition probability B(E2) are calculated. Our results of the theoretical calculations have been compared with the Global Best fit and theoretical values of 38Sr and 58Ce nuclei, which shows in general good agreement with Global Best fit but less with theoretical values.
