Effect of Som's Strategy SWOM in the Acquisition of Biology by the Second Intermediate Female Students and their Metacognitive Skills

Abstract

The researcher has made an experiment to investigate the authenticity of the two hypotheses spending two months in Al-Furat Intermediate School for Girls subordinated to the Directorate of Education in Babylon. The researcher chosen the last three chapters from the biology book for the second intermediate class. The results have shown that the female students of the experimental group studying according to SWOM strategy have exceeded the female students of the control group studying traditionally.
