Abstract

AbstractShows the spatial distribution of total solar radiation at the annual rate between meteorological stations. Annual rates ranged from (17.732- 19.575) (MJ m-2 day-1), Monthly rates have seen spatial variability between meteorological stations. The temporal variation between the months was evident, with all meteorological stations recording the lowest monthly rates of total solar radiation in December. While most of the study stations recorded their highest monthly rates during the month of June, Some of the study stations recorded the highest rates in July. It is also clear that the annual rates of solar radiation in Iraq have shown spatial variation among the study station (13.654- 15.075) (MJ m-2 day-1). As for the monthly rates of solar net, all study stations recorded their lowest monthly rates during December. While most of the study stations recorded the highest monthly rates during the month of June and recorded some of the study stations the highest rates during the month of July.
