Abstract

The plastic arts saw conversions in the aesthetic appearance through the technical style possibilities using a collection of means and methods according to art needs and requirements in experimentation aiming at interpreting the artist's thoughts and ideas which was accomplished at the hand of many Iraq artists like (Mohammed Mahruddin- Layla Al-Attar- Saleh Al-Jumai'i… etc) by innovative techniques like collage, transparency, construction and assembling and other techniques, characterizing the 1960s stage which was an important stage among the stages of Iraqi contemporary formation; therefore the researcher found it was necessary to study the technical styles for their importance in enriching the artistic works by making the material of the plastic project for the students of Education Department at the College of Fine Arts, through employing the technical styles used by the Iraqi plastic artist in technical treatments of artistic work components in the project material. Within that light, the researcher constructed her aims, i.e. exposing the artistic styles in the works of Iraqi plastic artists at the 1960s stage, designing a typical teaching plans according to the technical styles shown in the works of plastic artists and measuring the effectiveness of teaching plans on a sample of fourth class students at the Department of Artistic Education in the project material. To verify the aims, she put two nil hypotheses to show the results and verify them. The researcher relied on a collection of statistical means to treat the obtained data and information like (Wilcoxen test- difficulty coefficient equation- Kuder Richardson equation- Holesty equation). The researcher also arrived at a number of results, conclusions and recommendations.
