A comparative study of social desirability of female scout guide between colleges of physical education and sport science in Baghdad – Diyala and its relation to the result of scout competition

Abstract

The research included five door, the first door about research introduction which stated the importance of the scale of social desirability in the field of educational psychology and its importance in various fields.The social desirability means that child tends to choose the answer that represents the most acceptable behavior of the group to which he belongs, Expressed in the total scores that correspond to the answer key prepared for the measurement prepared by Lorenberg and the researcher transferred it to ArabicThe research problem was:Knowing the extent of social desirability of female scout guide between colleges of physical education and sport science in Baghdad – Diyalathe research aims are:1- Identify the values of social desirability of female scout guide Baghdad – Diyala2- Identify differences in the values of social desirability of female scout guide Baghdad – Diyala. identify the relationship between the values of social desirability among the scout competition results.The research hypotheses are:There are no statistically significant differences between the values of social desirability of female scout guide between colleges of physical education and sport science in Baghdad – Diyala.The second door included research methodology, the researcher used the descriptive approach to suit the research problem, while the research sample was a group of female scout guides from colleges of physical education and sport science Baghdad – Diyala,The researcher did the experimental experiment on a group of research society for the purpose of identifying the negatives and positives that accompany the application of the scale and whether the terms of the scale are understood by the sample members, and learn the negatives for the purpose of exceeding them in the experimentThe third door included showing and discussing the results of female scout guides from colleges of physical education and sport science Baghdad – Diyala in the variable of social desirability, also showing and discussing the calculated correlation coefficients between the social desirability and the degree of competitionThe fourth door included the most important conclusions and recommendations where the researcher concluded that:The emergence of significant differences among female scout guide between colleges of physical education and sport science inBaghdad – Diyala.And recommended the following:Use of social desirability scale on other universities female scout guides of different physical education colleges
