Abu Hafs al-Kabir and his Hanafi Mshyakat & school in Bukhara

Abstract

The fame of Abi Hafs al-Kabir (150-217 AH / 767-832M) dates back to Mashikhtah (a school in the fifth century AH) founded in Bukhara (his hometown and homeland) in the second half of the second century AH, which lasted for centuries.Abu Hafs was able to transfer the knowledge of Shaykh Abu Yusuf and Muhammad ibn al-Hasan al-Shaibani to the countries beyond the river. The Hanafi doctrine spread more than any other Islamic doctrine.The study dealt with the definition of the country beyond the river, then talk about the emergence of the Grandfather of the family (Abu Hafs al-Kabir) and its impact in the Hanafi school, and then the scientific activity carried out by his parents and grand parents after him in achieving the mission of the school, and finally presented some of the Fatawa and opinions of Abu Hafs Various sections of jurisprudence.
