The Impact Of Electronic Management In Organizational Change Strategies - Field Study in Wasit Governorate

Abstract

That the rapid technological developments, especially information and communication technologies, have created a new situation in which contemporary organizations are able to face these developments and seriously think about the purpose of providing services to citizens in an electronic manner to take advantage of time and reduce costs. It is necessary to review their strategies and organizational change events that correspond to those developments The aim of this research is to understand the impact of e-governance on success factors (strategic vision, support of senior management, external pressures, high expectations of beneficiaries, technological change) in strategies of change (The strategy of rationalization, strategy of education and awareness-oriented, coercive strategy, participatory strategy) in one of the Iraqi organizations (Wasit Governorate), and for the purpose of achieving the objectives of the research, the research adopted the descriptive analytical method, and collected data from (35 managers, Divisions, units and units. The questionnaire was used as an essential tool in data collection. The research data were analyzed using multiple linear regression. The study reached a number of conclusions and recommendations, including: The existence of a strategic vision on the adoption of the concept of electronic management with the existence of administrative leadership capable of directing the capabilities of the employees towards the application of electronic management within the organization investigated, and the senior management in the Office of the province supports the policy of applying electronic management and uses the Organization information systems and advanced programs in dealing between the Department and its branches as well as the citizen And uses techniques to maintain the security of information in the Office of Wasit province and presented the researcher a set of recommendations that contribute to raising the level of performance of the Iraqi organization and the march towards supporting the factors of the success of electronic administration .
