Abstract

Al-Monkar) Evil is against good. It is everything that the religion recognizes it as ugly , forbidden and not acceptable. In Arabic language ( Al-Enkar) is a term which is also used to describe wit, wisdom and also to trouble difficult thing. (Al-Enkar) is another term derived from (Monkar) which means denial as an opposite to avowal. As a scientific definition, if this term is used to describe hadith, scholars define it in different ways. Some scholars said it is hadith which is unique to a man and its text cannot be known from other than his narration, not from the person that he narrated from him, nor from other way. Others said that Monkar hadith can be divided into two types. The first type is hadith that is on the contrary with confident narrators. The second is the individual that there is no trust and mastery in his narration to grant him uniqueness. There are also other definition that will be discussed in this study. Imams almost agree that monkar hadith must be the uniqueness of those who cannot be unique, or its contrast to confident narrations or one of them. The researcher in this study of selected hadiths aimed at explaining what Imam Ahmed meant by Monkar hadith. Is it on weaker narrator, confident narrator or both of them
