Cultural Referentialities of Arab literary criticism in the third and fourth centuries AH

Abstract

This research aims to determine the Arab cultural references, which formed the critical discourse in the third and fourth centuries AH in the Arab environment. In addition to revealing, the patterns that emerged in these references affecting transformation of criticism from orality nature. On the literary and social heritage prevailing in the Arab environment before the third and fourth centuries AH to the literacy nature that benefited from the emergence of authorship in the sciences, and knowledge among the Arabs the spread of writing, and the translation of other nations' knowledge into Arabic.
