Study the Structural, Optical and Electrical Conductivity Properties of Copper Oxide Thin Films Prepared by Chemical Bath Deposition

Abstract

Copper oxide thin films were prepared on glass substrate by using chemical bath deposition (CBD) method, with thickness of 0.23μm. In this study, aqueous solutions of copper oxide at low temperature were used. The structural (nano structure) of the film was studied by using X-ray diffraction (XRD), optical examination microscopic and Scanning electron micrographs (SEM). Also electrical conductivity and optical properties by were studied. The band gap energy was ~2.6eV.
