A Position of the Parliament of Athorian Issue 1929-1933

Abstract

The minority of Iraq constituted a significant role in the social and political events of Iraq history, in order to shed light on those events it is necessary to make an independent study about a position of parliament from Athorian issue that is considered as one of the most important issue in the modern kingdom history. In order to know all the discussions that happened in the parliament between the members of parliament and the members of ministry. This study included the origin of Athorian that is differed between historians some of them belong them to Kurdish origins while others agree that they are from Christian community that had been living in (Hakara) mountains of Othmani state. They relied on powers (countries that control others) during the first world war 1914-1918. The British forces called them and housing them in Iraq because Russia eluded them and Othmani state expulsion them from their land. After the establishment of Iraqi kingdom in 1921. The Athorian took advantage their relations with British forces and joined the mercenaries forces and made massacres in Mousel and Kirkuk that made hatred for them from other Iraqi community. This research also included the discussion of salaries of parliament that are paid from Iraq state for their president Almar Shamaaon and the discussion of Athorian weapons and how they had owned those weapons. This study discussed the reasons behind the exemption of Athorian from fees that are imposed on the Iraqi except Athorian.
