Effect of cube strategy in the achievement of students of chemistry department for measurement and evaluation

Abstract

The study aimed at knowing the effect of using Cubic's model on the achievement of fourth grade students in chemistry department in Measurement & Evaluation Curriculum. To achieve this objective, put one null hypotheses , a sample of (70) students has been chosen from the fourth class in Chemistry Department in Mosul University (2017-2018) . The sample is divided into two groups the first one is the experimental group and the second one is the control group consisting of (36 – 34) students respectively. The experimental group has been taught according to Cubic’ Model and the control group in the traditional method. The study required one test, The total test characterized by validity and stability. The difficulty level of the test and the differentiability of its items have been worked out and all of them were within the acceptable range of difficulty and differentiability, Collecting and statistically analyzing the data by using T- test for two independent samples, the researcher have reached the following result:There is a statistical difference between the two groups of the study in achievement of Measurement & Evaluation for the sake of the experimental group .
