The Effect of Six Hats strategies on improving performance quality for members of staff the teaching in higher education / exploration study of opinions of the teaching staff at the university of Mosul

Abstract

The six hats strategies is a contemporary approach which emphasizes on quality performance .The six hats can be considered a creative approach because innovation process depends on it. So, the research aims to explain the impact of six hats strategies on improving quality performance for members of the teaching staff in the university. In addition ,the researchers try to include within their research these two variables: (six hats strategies ,and members of staff performance) within totally theoretical and analytical framework to determine their effects .Generally ,the research tries to answer the following questions:-1-Do six hats strategies represent suitable guide to use creative thinking skills for the members of the teaching staff ?2-Does the member of staff have Knowledge about the impact of six hats strategies on improving quality performance for members of the teaching staff?3-How the university can apply the concept of six hats strategies to contribute in improving the quality performance for members of the teaching staff. The research concluded that :there is a significant relationship and effect between six hats strategies and quality performance for members of the teaching staff.Key words: Six Hats , Improvement , Performance quality , staff members, Creativity thinking.
