The effect of interaction between Azotobacrer chroococcum bacteria , organic matter and nitrogen fertilizer on growth of maize plant .

Abstract

Afactorial pot experiment by using (CRD ) on loam sand soil to study the effect of interaction between A.chroococcum bacteria and organic matter (o.m) (wastes barndoor 2.5%) and three levels of nitrogen fertilizer(0, 90 ,180 ,) kgN.ha-1on growth of maize plant .The results showed that application of A. chroococcum bacteria ,wastes barndoor and dual application (A. chroococcum +o.m ) casused significantly increment in plant height , leaf area and dry weight compared with treatment control irrespective with application of nitrogen fertilizer , the highest number with dual application (A.chroococcum +o.m) caused increment (111.62% , 333.48% and 74.56% ) for plant height , leaf area and dry weight respectively compared with treatment control .The level application (90 kgN.ha-1 ) caused significantly increment in plant height , leaf area and dry weight for all treatment compared with out addition of nitrogen fertilizer , while reduction values reduced significantly with application level (180 kgN.ha-1 ) , the highest number with dual application (A.chroococcum +o.m ) and with (90 kgN.ha-1 ) caused increment ( 93.94% ,275.78% and 65.51% ) for plant height , leaf area and dry weight respectively compared with treatment compared and with (90 kgN.ha-1 ) .The dual application (A.chroococcum +o.m ) caused significantly increment in bacteria cells number compared with single application of bacteria caused increment (17.21% )irrespective with application of nitrogen fertilizer caused dual application (A.chroococcum +o.m ) and with (90 kgN.ha-1 ) highest number and increment (16.29%) .
