Calculation of 22Na(n,α)19F Cross Sections from the 19F(α,n)22Na Cross Sections by Using the Principle of Detailed Balance

Abstract

The cross sections of 22Na(n,α)19F reaction were measured through the 19F(α,n)22Na cross sections available in the literature using the principle of detailed balance in the energy range of α-particles (0.9 -6.65) MeV. This work covers for the first time a wide energy range, and a considerable correspondence observed within the resonances of both direct and inverse reactions.
