تقدير الفيض العمودي لجسميات PM10 فوق العراق

Abstract

The aim of this research is to estimate and study the variations of the vertical flux for the PM10 particulates over selected regions in Iraq. Wind data from the American National Center for Environmental Prediction (NCEP) for the period 1951-1981 were used for Baghdad, Mosul, Basra, and Rutba were used. These locations represent the northern, central, southern, and western parts of Iraq. The results indicated that the monthly means of the vertical flux for the PM10 particulates vary from time to time during the day and they depends on the topography of the region.
